The number of positions listed for each training grant represents the total number of trainee slots for each grant, not the number of current open positions.
To qualify for a training position, you must:
- Be a citizen or non-citizen national of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence
- Have received a Ph.D., M.D., D.O., D.C., D.D.S., D.V.M., O.D., D.P.M., Sc.D., Eng.D., Dr. P.H., D.N.Sc., N.D., Pharm.D., D.S.W., Psy.D., or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution
